Hellman Electric was selected by the NYCDDC to support the full reconstruction of the Grand Concourse through extensive signal and street lighting upgrades. The scope of work involved the removal and installation of traffic signal poles, LED street lighting, conduit, wiring, pedestrian signals, and foundations, along with other critical safety infrastructure across multiple intersections. These improvements modernized the corridor’s transportation systems, enhancing safety, reliability, and overall functionality for one of the Bronx’s most heavily traveled thoroughfares.
