Hellman Electric has been selected to bring voice accessibility services to hundreds of Manhattan and Staten Island intersections. This three-year project is the first milestone in the City of New York’s plan to install such services at 9,000 intersections. The scope of the build includes the following:

    • Design an APS system at 420 intersections for each borough
    • Install new APS units and poles
    • Perform all civil work and restoration at each intersection
    • Underground conduits & cables
    • Install temporary traffic signals
