Hellman is proud of its legacy and continued growth over the last 100 years and has plans to continue growth and innovation. To ensure that there is a strong talent pool to draw from, the firm recognizes the importance of mentoring younger professionals as well as student interns who have shown an interest in learning more about the industry.
The entire leadership team has prioritized developing and mentoring the next generation of electrical contractors and plays active roles with several local colleges and universities to foster and maintain mentorship opportunities with students to provide them with real-world industry experiences and opportunities as well as to develop thoughtful leaders who are ready to engage in the changing electrical industry.
Hellman Electric hires numerous college interns to help grow the next generation. The firm is part of the formal mentoring program at both Manhattan College and Drexel University.
