In the wake of heightened concerns about the spread of COVID-19, we want to update you on how we’re addressing the situation at Hellman Electric.
As an essential business serving the New York Metropolitan and surrounding areas, Hellman will maintain business continuity to provide necessary service to all of our customers.
Additionally, the health of our employees and customers is a top priority and we are following the recommendations and procedures provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization to ensure everyone’s safety. We will continue to seek guidance on an ongoing basis in the weeks and months to come.
Hellman strongly encourages its employees to seek appropriate medical care and remain at home when they are sick. In addition, Hellman has encouraged its employees to implement the following preventative measures:
- Wash hands with soap & water for 20 seconds.
- Sneeze and cough into tissues.
- Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
- Regularly clean surfaces, such as keyboards or surrounding areas.
The coronavirus pandemic has already impacted millions of families, communities, and businesses and our thoughts are with those who have been affected by the virus. We do request that anyone experiencing a fever, cold or flu-like respiratory symptoms please refrain from coming to our office or an existing job site. We will continue to monitor this developing event and will take every action needed as well as keep our customers informed on significant changes to our procedures.
